ART CLASSES
Mike holds classes in his studio for all levels, from absolute beginners to those who already paint well but prefer to work in an environment of like minded people. Children are welcome.
Class Durations
Standard classes are 4 hours, including a break for refreshments. The format is quite flexible and, if preferred, you can attend any class for part of the session (either 2 or 3 hours). Classes for children are generally 1 or 2 hours duration.
Equipment
Please bring your own paints, brushes and painting surface (paper or canvas etc.). Mike provides easels, tables and mixing plates. If you are beginning Mike can provide brushes and paints until you decide what medium you prefer to use.
Subject and Style
The classes are very informal and Mike has an extensive library of reference material, so you are free to develop your own personal style or learn from works by established artists.
